Homeschooling in South Florida

We are members of a homeschooling community in South Florida. With the world around us constantly pushing an agenda that is anti- Biblical, teachers that are overwhelmed with the amount of students they have, test scores that make the teachers train kids for the test not for life and an increasing worldview that is much less than Christian, it is important that we train our children in ways that are godly, moral, and right.  Homeschooling in South Florida provides many opportunities for families to connect together as a family unit and with other homeschooling families.  We are members of the Broward Arts Enrichment Homeschool Fellowship  BAEHF.  We have field trips, promotion night, dances, fellowship and monthly meetings.

Helping the Poor

Mike & Daryl Ann Zulinke of Cill Dara Ministries are organizing a group of homeschooling families to partner with St. Laurence Chapel to help the poor in our community. We will be helping by organizing the pantry, preparing emergency food kits, organizing clothing, serving in the food line, preparing hygiene kits and other needs of the  outreach.

We would like to get enough volunteers in order to help the St. Laurence Chapel on a weekly basis.

Other ways to help
St. Laurence Chapel needs donations of:
Clothes: Especially jeans and t-shirts in good condition, baseball caps, white socks, & sneakers.
Food: Staple food products, canned soups, & bottled water.
Hygiene Kits: Unbreakable combs (no sharp handles), toothbrushes (packaged), tube of toothpaste (6–8 oz., no pumps), soap, hand towels, deodorant, shampoo, tissues, hand sanitizers, &feminine hygiene products.
Monetary: Donations can be made directly payable to St. Laurence Chapel (501(c) 3 tax deductible)

You can make a difference!
